The original Chain suit was made with gold brass studs and gold plated chain. After several dry cleanings, during which the chains were not removed, the plating came off of the chain, leaving it nickel colored. If you see the original Chain suit at Graceland now, it appears to have nickel colored chain on it.
If you order this suit, it will come with gold colored studs and chain unless you specify that you want nickel.
